WANTED: PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP MAKE YOUR BUSINESS A SUCCESS

I really enjoyed this post which gives some good advice about how to identify the right people to handle your social media initiatives…

To sum up… you should be looking for people who:

• Love your organisation and really understand its mission
• Believe in the transformative power of social media
• You enjoy being around
• Have little fear of failure
• Enjoy working in teams
• Are responsive
• Can speak like a human being
• Are very aware of their strengths and weaknesses and are open about them
• Are humble

IMO businesses often oursource their marketing to agencies or consultants who bring specialist skills to the table. This checklist could be used to help decide who management teams work with in any number of areas: advertising, PR, or digital campaigns.

Now ask yourself, do you know anyone who fits the bill? Have you already got someone working for you – either in-house or an agency/consultant – who ticks all the boxes?

Or are there other qualities you demand from your partners? I’d be really interested to know if I measure up.
